Our date night boxes are designed for you! As the UK’s favourite subscription box for couples, we come up with a unique theme every month, and stuff each box full of exciting activities, mood-setters, snacks, drinks, and more!

There’s no prep needed, so when you’re ready for your date just pop open the box and set off on your adventure.

We promise 2-3 hours of wholesome quality time for you and your partner. All you need to do is show up!

If you want to go all-out, there’s also an optional themed 2-course dinner menu and cocktail recipe, to give you the full date night experience. Don’t worry, we’ll send you the shopping list by email a week in advance!

We love partnering with other small businesses! So every month we find the best indie-brand snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, to match your date’s theme. Try something new and delicious, while helping out other small UK businesses – can’t get better than that!

We only source from the best, so our snacks and drinks as allergen-free as possible, to cater for the most common dietary restrictions. If you’ve got any special requirements just let us know and we’ll make sure you get something you can enjoy.

And if you prefer alcoholic drinks (we’re with you!), we include a tailored cocktail recipe, which only requires the drink that we provide, some basic home ingredients, and a common spirit.

Let us surprise you with a different box every month, and save more by subscribing to Box42. You’ll receive your first box within 5 days after you place your first order, and monthly after that. 

We know how some subscriptions can be sneaky, so we’ve made this one as simple as possible! You can pause or cancel your subscription online at any time (no commitment, no minimum duration!), just go to the Subscriptions tab on the My Account page (no need to call us – we hate phone calls too!).

We’ll also send you a reminder about one week before you get re-billed. And if you forget to cancel before your next box ships, we’ll take it back for a full refund within 30 days.

We use a combination of couriers to get our boxes to you as quickly and safely as possible! Our standard free delivery timeline is 3-5 working days, and is posted with Royal Mail Second Class. However we’re all in a rush sometimes, so we also offer an express delivery option for £3 extra, which arrives in 1-3 working days, sent with DHL Parcel UK.

Yes absolutely! Our date night boxes are 100% wholesome and make an unforgettable gift for a partner, family member, friend or acquaintance. If you’d like a gift message included with the box, just leave us a note when you checkout on our site and we’ll take care of the rest. We’re also happy to send a gift in a disguised bag if you let us know at checkout!

If you can’t decide which theme to go with, we also offer a gift voucher option, so your recipient can pick their own box! You can find that here.

We know that everyone’s situation can change and sometimes you no longer want your box. We accept returns of any unused boxes in their original condition within 30 days of delivery, for a full refund!

Since every Box42 date is so different, we’re not sure how to explain it much better! All we can do is promise an exciting evening of love, laughter and fun, for you and your partner.
