Delivery and Returns

An overview of information relating to your order:
- We ship to anywhere in the UK and provide two shipping options to meet your needs.
- Our standard, free shipping method uses Royal Mail’s second class service, which usually requires 48 hours. We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours from purchase, and at the latest within 48 hours. As such, our free shipping option can take anywhere between 3-5 business days to arrive.
- Our express shipping method uses DHL’s next day service, which usually arrives on the next business day. We aim to dispatch express orders within 24 hours, and at the latest within 48 hours, and as such they may take anywhere between 1-3 business days to arrive.
- As both couriers can occasionally experience slight delays, please allow 1 extra business day after placing your order, to receive your box. During busy periods (e.g. Christmas / Valentine’s Day), our courier services can experience more severe delays, so please try to plan ahead accordingly.
- If you still haven’t received your order within 6 business days (for free shipping) or 4 business days (for express shipping), please drop us an email on hello@thebox42.co.uk.
- Orders received by us can be cancelled for no additional charge at any point before they have been dispatched. If you cancel your order before it has been dispatched, we will provide a full refund – no questions asked! This also applies to subscription renewal orders.
- For orders which have already been dispatched, if you would like to arrange a return, please contact us at hello@thebox42.co.uk. We happily accept returns for all orders as long as they contain all the original contents. Unfortunately we are unable to pay for return shipping, but we will immediately process a full refund (minus £3 shipping fees) for any complete boxes returned to us within 30 days from when the box was dispatched.
- Due to the perishable nature of the snacks and drinks, we are unable to accept returns more than 30 days after the original dispatch date.
